SHAMUN XVIII CONFERENCE

Welcome to the eighteenth session of SHAMUN ICJ. My name is Sujin Han. I am a senior at Shanghai American School Puxi and it is my utmost pleasure to serve as your president this year. The International Court of Justice, as the judicial organ of the United Nations, has settled various legal disputes between governments ranging from delineating international borders to determining the legality of use of force. The ICJ is run very differently from other committees and provides a unique and worthwhile experience for its participants. As an ardent supporter of this niche in MUN, I sincerely hope you have a wonderful time in this year’s SHAMUN ICJ.
